I, Nitin PR will today admit that Mr. Donald Trump and his books has been the driving force behind NPR Design’s super creative and successful work which is why I thought to my self why should not all our blog readers get to know why is Mr. Trump so darn awesome. We present you the Donald Trump month. The whole month we post pointers related to the book “Think BIG and Kick Ass” and explain how has the same helped us so much. Its time we give something back to the society.

DAY 1 key pointers.

1. Dream big because what you dream is what you do : We at NPR dreamed of becoming India’s preferred communications agency and look now, we are almost there. It’s the dream and the passion our team shares which drives us to provide work our clients love.

2. If you want to make tons of money; do not be shy : set a big goal : A goal to become a Worldwide preferred communications agency is on our list NOW.

3. Be lean and hungry. At every level, set even higher goals and challenges and achieve them : A lot of web technologies which were alien to us when we first started proved to be a challenge and now we cannot live without them

4. Take action every day and stay focused for the long haul : Each day is a new day filled with exciting new java tweaks and new design trends in web and print. Our passion and focus for the same helps us be ready for the long haul.

5. Soak up more and more knowledge each day so you know what you are doing : All our graphic and web design projects exhibit out of the box design and development displays. We read a lot. We experiment a lot too.Our clients swear by the same.

6. Pride yourself on your ability to provide creative solutions to tough problems : We don’t call ourselves a communications agency for nothing. We just do not design and develop : We also conceptualize and plan projects for our clients. It’s a one stop shop.

7. Never take NO for an answer : NO… ahaan what? Yes or we can at least try is all we understand.

8. Learn to trust your gut : Flash is not always the answer to the glitz and glam anime on a website. We understand that.

9. Hire the best people and don’t trust them : A slight correction, WE LOVE OUR TEAM (trust them too).

10. Get even with people who do you wrong : Our work talks. Thats all.

Life takes a turn, when it knows the road ahead is a dead-end. Hope can make life worth living. Too many people, with too many ideas make this world a competitive place to be in. A lot of ideas make sense and much more don’t at all. Luckily, I was lucky that my idea came in the top 10 of 45 Business ideas been presented at Iweekend.

NPR Design got a new lease of life and now our vision is going beyond the impossible but logical. Read on to know how…

Around 2 weeks ago, while I was surfing on facebook.com, I came across an ad which said, Present your Business idea and get funded. I thought to myself, click here Nitin, this might take your 1 year, super thought about idea a new beginning into a successful enterprise and help you find the right people to work with. I did click, it showed me this… click here.

Now, I signed up, filled a form, got an approval to present my idea. I was thrilled. Wow, one form and Rs. 1,500 makes me present an idea to investors and also get help from mentors and fellow participants. But things always do not go as planned. The day finally arrived. I reached the venue, took a seat, went through all the introductions part and finally the idea pitching bit started. Listened to a lot of fellow participant ideas, also did pitch my idea and managed to complete the same in 90 seconds. The evaluation process started and my idea came in the top 10 ideas which would further be cut down to the final 3 which get to present to the investors on the final day. My second pitch was fun too and I had all of the participants raise hands to ask questions. Reason – all loved the idea but I still needed to work more on it to make it work like a charm. I did not come in the final 3. I accepted the fact and went ahead and helped a fellow participant whose idea did get selected to present in the finals. I helped him create the Presentation and the logo design which was well appreciated by investors But, his idea needed more fine tuning as they said. He is now working on it and it sure using the name and logo designed by NPR Design.

As its said, an experience counts more than winning and losing. My experience helped me connect with the right people who would take my idea to the next level. My goal of my idea being funded is now not so far away. Will keep you guys posted for more. I found my A team which would help me realise my dreams and in turn I would help them realise theirs. Its perfect. Will keep on updating more. This is exciting. Watch out this space for more exciting web products coming up soon.

1. Always do select a Hosting Plan which offers you an Effective Bandwidth Management. Just having a 100 GB Bandwidth is not enough. Its gotta work. There is possibility of a thousand views and downloads from your site. You don’t want your visitors to wait for ages. They did not commit a crime by visiting your site.

2. Select a Hosting service that stores Back-up of your site data onto another server. What if this server crashes. Your site shall be murdered.

3. A 24/7/365 Live and Phone numbered Customer Care which have actual Humans answering queries and who guide you well and not just plain make more money out of you by luring you more to their crappy products.

4. Make sure that if a site is offering a $50 USD for an entire year and offering about 10 GB worth of space, they have over a million sites hosted on the same server. The concept of Shared Hosting as “they say it” is not overcrowding one’s space with too many websites. I believe in a $70 USD offering 1 GB space and yes that is a trust worthy and honest Hosting service.

5. Never hire a Hosting Service which goes down often and you are stuck for hours in front of the Customer Care Chat Applet hoping and waiting for that one 7 step procedure to get your site up and running. Too much Drama that is.
